re: iPad not recognizing Airport express

After a couple of hours I realized it wasn't me or the APexpress or my computer....this morning (was thinking about giving it another go, when I read that the ipad does not work with express,
Unfortunately I can't remember where I saw it so can only offer my empethetic frustration and the word on the street.

I don't have any Apple routers, so all I can do is reference Apple support documents. This one says that you have to setup a Wireless Distribution System in order to use the Airport Express to extend the range of an existing network. Have you done this? Is there any way to verify that your Macbook Pro is connecting via the Airport Express and not the Time Capsule? You might want to post a question in a forum dedicated to the Airport Express to get a better answer.

Since you just purchased this Airport Express, you might want to contact Apple directly and verify that this is possible with your current networking equipment.

If you have done all this correctly and it should work, try telling the iPad to forget all existing networks.

Etresoft pretty much took the words out of my mouth. I have an Airport Extreme and Express in my house and my iPad connects to the Express just fine. It should work. And defiantly reference the articles above.
