UK Pre-order - "Shipped By" or "Delivered By"??

Mine has too, and I cancelled my o2 sim, maybe coincidence ?

US shipments seem to land in Anchorage and then spend some time travelling south through the country. Euro ones might travel to a central location in Europe first... which could be anywhere. Here's hoping it's Gatwick which is right by my nearest depot... 😉

I did not cancel my o2 sim and really I don't. Think this would hold up your order, now just wait for it to be turned to shipped.
Interestingly I looked at the US thread and some people on there still had not got shipped status less than 24 hours before the 3G release but they still got them on the date apple promised

Still not tranking info for my Ipad dispatched via UPS, have tried both UK and US UPS sites but both do not recognise the shipping reference

Anyway that said I am a nearly 44 year old going on 12 I am in the same postion as everyone else (although I live in Italy) I pre-ordered on the 10th mine was shipped yesterday, I am not going to get paranoid - well just a little lol - I have a delivery date of 28th and reading around even if shipments arrive earlier couriers have been told to hold on and only deliver on the 28th (Uncle Steve said so) 😉 we will see - whenever I've purchased anything via the online store it's always arrived earlier says me hoping. Anyway a happy iPad to you all!!! :))

UPS has now recogonised my shipping ref and feeds back that the shipping info has been sent to UPS, but the iPad hasn't been collected.

Guess I can go outside today. 🙂

Frustrated: My order shows as shipped, but no more detail than that. Tried the tracking number on any TNT tracker I can find, and most give me unrecognised. The international one pointed to on this thread however does recognise the number...unfortunately it is for a package delivered in Greece in February. Do TNT recycle their tracking numbers?

I also pre-ordered on the 10th at 6am (64GB 3G with case, camera connector, VGA adaptor and O2 SIM). My order status is also still saying "Ships by 28th".

Just called Apple Customer Services who confirmed that it was being loaded up to be shipped this evening meaning that it would still arrive on the 28th.

...aaaand relax.

Frustratingly my order said "Prepared to Ship" this morning and has now reverted back to "Ships by May 28th".

ring them - they are use to us by now!

That's good news. My 64 3G, case, o2 sim, dock and extra charger still say shipping by 28th May even though I preordered at 05:24 on the 10th. I too rang Apple today and they assured me that my order was going through even though my status hasn't changed since the 10th. Their system details show my order being processed and shipped but I only have their word for that. 😟

Ordered 32 gb iPad + dock, case, camera connection kit & o2 sim at 7 am on 10 May .... not yet shipped and status has changed without advice from will be delivered by 28 May to be shipped by 28 May.

Come on Apple, first come first served .... !!!!!

My status has just changed to prepared for shipment! How long, based on others experiences, did it take to go from this status to being shipped?

My order changed to prepared for shipping last night and has been this since, i think this will change to shipping later today / tonight.

Little tip for anyone with iphone. Good little app called deliveries, you can enter your apple order numbers on there and it track the status of each order.
Saves logging in to apple all the time to check
