Convert .app to .pkg for remote install

Hello.

This may be a more complex problem than I'm currently hoping, thinking about it it probably is. I live in hope that somebody will give me a new idea. 🙂

So, I have a .app file which installs a touchscreen driver. I need to put this on 400+ systems. I'd like to make a package out of it and install it with ARD. Can anyone suggest a good .app to .pkg converter, or another way to do this? Once the install starts I need to select a driver option from a list, then enter admin details, then restart. I guess I can script that?

Or, do I install on one machine and make package from that install? I think I read you could do that, but it's been a long few weeks and my mind is coming up with all sorts of crap so who knows.

Cheers.
