Magic Mouse connected but not working
The mouse again stopped working about 3 hours ago. Since then I did the same things I did before. This time I even reset the PRAM by pressing option command+RP keys. Nada. Nothing happens.
Here is my problem:
- The mouse does not work even though the indicator says wireless mouse is connected, the battery level is for more than %50 and the green indicator on the mouse blinks when I turn on and off the mouse.
Here is what I did in order to solve the problem as a list:
- Clicked the mouse several times in order to make sure that it is not sleeping.
- Turned the mouse off and on using the switch button on the mouse.
- Checked the battery holder to see if there is anything loose and changed the batteries.
- Disconnected and reconnected the wireless mouse.
- Turned the bluetooth off and on.
- Restarted the computer several times.
- Reset PRAM.
- Tried to delete the .com....bluetooth.plist
- Even changed the battery of the wireless keyboard.
- Made sure that there is no cell phone or any other bluetooth available equipment nearby.
I wonder whether there is a software bug in one of the latest updates or my mouse is defective.
Any other suggestion?
