Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT

Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

Itunes wont connect to store.

"iTunes could not connect to the iTunes store; the network connection timed out. Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active then try again"

I have tried the solutions posted on this site, and others including:

Making myself admin
Removing firewall
Removing host files
Changing the proxy server settings to none
complete reinstall

Anyone got any other suggestions?

I had the same problem... updated itunes and couldn't connect to istore. Really frustrating as I was trying to initialize a new iphone! I tried everything from firewalls to security settings to the 'parental settings' that I've read in the threads I even reloaded itunes, nothing worked. The solution is one of two....I updated windows in the usual manner and then downloaded a registry fix and ran it. Rebooted and it worked!!!! So there you guys update windows and fix your registry. Good luck
