Aperture hanging and until force quit

I'm stumped. Aperture will work for a few adjustments and then I go to make another adjustment, and I get the beachball until I force quit. I've repaired the database, dumped preferences, tried the library on another machine. I have 4 separate Aperture Libraries and all are suffering at this point, though to different degrees. I spent a few hours with Apple Care and we went through lots of trouble shooting, but the problem remains.

Help!

I have this happen to me after a while of editing as well. Every single time it's happened the /var/vm/swapfile(s) have just been updated. Looks like Aperture can't handle swapping out data or something.

This is crazy i feel like is having their way with us at our expense... 7 months i spent cursing and going out of my mind! Now after al the nonesense and stollen time i cant even awitch to LR3 it has my work HOSTAGE! It's TERRORISM for all i care i dont want my time and money BACK i just wanna save my adjustments and peacefully go to Lightroom!!!
