iPad clock running slow or not syncing

Just noticed that my iPad (wifi) is not syncing the clock to the apple server and therefore seems to be 'losing' time. I notice that there are a few discussions around with no definitive answer. I don't believe this is a hardware or even firmware issue... but I might be wrong.
Syncing to computer helps for a bit but then it drifts again. Powering off and on doesn't help either.
Anyone else having this issue?

Am also using a 32GB WiFi iPad updated to OS 3.2. Have also noted that each time I "turn on" the iPad by waking it up from it's sleep, the clock has lost time. So I have to reset the time frequently. Syncing with my MacBook does not seem to have any effect, positive or negative. Have also tried a hard reset, but to no avail.

Does anybody have a solution for this?
