Unlimited plan on iPad 3G

I ordered it from Apple's Online Sotre
Apple has been great, best customer service I have ever dealt with but still cannot get issue fixed.
AT&T has given a million excuses and even after a conference call between Appl, AT&T and myself the issue should have been fixed last week but still nothing. Apple called me Friday night and we decided to wait until Monday to contact AT&T.
The last thing AT&T said Wednesday night was the reason I had not heard was that the ticket was just sitting there and had not been forwarded to the proper person. I was told that the proper person was the one we were speaking on the conference call with and the issue would be handled immediately, no word since from AT&T.

I just pickup my 64gig 3g at best buy and the unlimited still available when I sign up through iPad for 29.99

I hope jdnedge let's us know if he was able to get AT&T and Apple to resolve his problem and sign him up for unlimited data.

I think whoever order through apple website will get the unlimited plan. I ordered mine on June 6 from apple's website. Still waiting. They said shipping date is June 21. We'll see how it goes. I hated second generation of iphone so I gave to my friend after 2 month of use. I wish this doesn't let me down like Iphone did. I liked the phone but not service!

I ordered mine from the website on June 3 and it arrived this morning. It actually shipped and arrived 2 business days earlier than the original dates.

One of the very first things I did was sign up for the unlimited plan which was there as expected. I thought there was a problem after multiple attempts to submit my credit card. I knew the number, name, etc. were correct after checking very closely. Turned out my dyslexic mind had switched a couple of numbers for the authentification code! After I fixed that, sign-up was quick and painless.

I bought one at best buy last week and activated the unlimited plan on 6/15 with no problem.

I purchased my iPad through a third party and was able to choose the unlimited plan last night. I wonder how Att is handling this. Maybe they are giving us a window until the end of June to decide?

Ordered on 4th, Shipped on 17th , Received Today (21 June). I am not able to activate the unlimited plan ...

Pretty much the same here. Ordered an iPad on the 4th, shipped on the 16th, received this morning (21st), and the unlimited plan is not an option. Only the 250 MB and 2 GB plans show up. Is there still a way to get the unlimited plan?

Same here! Arrived today with no unlimited plan offered. I will be big league ****** if I ordered this **** thing before June 6 and now cannot choose the unlimited plan as promised. 2GB is nothing and will barely last me a day or two.

I'm currently on the phone with AT&T and the guy (in India) is not being very helpful. I might well be returning this device today. Anybody have any suggestions.

Two options only. I'm not sure what I want to do now. I do NOT want to have to get on the phone to deal with this, as I know there's going to be a runaround.

Yes, I DO blame Apple for this. There's no way they couldn't have known about this ahead of time.

Crossing my fingers for you guys that you get it settled quickly. But, then again, this is corporate America.

I'm in the same boat. About to start the LONG process of getting AT&T to honor their commitment.

So has anyone actually been successful yet in getting the unlimited option when there previously wasn't one?
