QuickVoice Problem

Can anyone please advise I used quickvoice and did 2 diff voice recordings when I sync the ipad its nowhere to be found on itunes library I cannot even find it in itunes under the ipad itself either but when I restart the ipad and go into QuickVoice application I see on the listing 2 recordings and the only options I see there is to e-mail them but when I try to do it it tells me its greater than 5mb e-mail limit so how does one get say a 30min meeting on voice transferred???????
under more info on itunes apps it says it can record meetings or am I wasting my time with this application and can anyone recommend one that actually works by the way am not wanting voice to text for emails.

It downloads .cab files that cannot be opened by any app.

I downloaded the specific .exe file. Installed the program and tried to run it.. It scans my iPad and it says: "1 recordings found. 0 recordings imported, 0 previously imported." If I check in the folder 'Quickvoice iPhone Recordings' the only thing I see is a .dmp file...

Sorted it out at last!
Download one of these and follow the instructions. It helped me get 205MB recording from the iPad to a Windows PC - and it's free!

As soon as I get my recordings off I'm dumping this app and getting one that works.

Guys it's very easy,

First you need download the sync tool:

than

manual Backup ( 1.) Connect your iPhone or Ipad to computer, 2.) Launch iTunes, 3.) Right clicking on the iPhone or Ipad under devices (in right column), and 4.) Select Back Up ) .

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT because the sync tool search the records into backup file, and NOT in ipad or iphone, this is the confusion, i tried and worked very well.

If this were easy I wouldn't be here.

This sync app should be in plain sight on the site. I have wasted a considerable amount of time trying to find this information.

Plus, it grabs the data from the iTunes backup, not the iPad/iPhone itself. Since I am having problems backing up it won't let me do anything.

Why is the ability to backup not built into the QuickVoice app itself??

Okay, so I installed the sync app, successfully downloaded the files to my PC and found them in the Documents/QuickVoice/QuickVoicerecordings folder. However, the files are in a .CAF file format.

The NEXT thing you have to do is download a converter app to get from the .CAF file to an mp3, or use an online converter app.

This helped me. It really worked.

A first had to sync my iPad (as a new iPad) and then import my recordings. It still worked.

So fantastic Dr. Apple ;-)

Now a just have to convert the .caf files to something more usefull.

To convert .cab files to MP3 I found out that the Free program Audacity worked also for this.

Hi Dr Apple!

Thanks for your good advice.

I've downloaded the quick voice recorder sync app. But nom I'm still stuck : when I try to import my recordings, it says that I hadn't backed up my app but I did!!

So is there any way to transfer it?

Lot's of discussion here but not many real solutions.

Here's what I was able to use SUCCESSFULLY and FREE!

http://www.macroplant.com/iexplorer/

with iExplorer, I simply selected Apps->QuickVoice->Documents->####.caf

the caf file is the audio file.

Even the demo mode of iexplorer allowed me to drag the .caf file to the desktop, where I was able to open and listen in QuickTime.

Add ME to the list of frustrated Quick Voice users.

I have QV original and QV PRO on my iphone 4 and I have over 100 recordings that i NEED to transfer into itunes [11.1.3 (8) 64 bit or at least into my MAcbook Pro 10.7.5

HOW DID YOU DO THIS? I have a new phone and need to send back the old one, but the old one has the QV and QVPro recordings. PLEASE HELP, I NEED THIS INFORMATION FOR WORK.
