Mouse Scroll stopped working after upgrading to Safari 5

My mouse trackpad scroll stopped working after upgrading to Safari 5. Everything worked fine when I was on 4.0.5, I installed 5 and it killed the scroll. I uninstalled 5 and installed 4.0.5 and it too stopped working. Everything works fine on Chrome. I uninstalled the mouse drivers and installed again and nothing helped.

Any one having the same issues.

I just stop using Safari after this update, I'm back to I.E. till it's got fixed...

Originally I thought the scrolling issue(Unable to Scroll up using the panel on notebooks) was a bug of safari 5.
Finally, I have got a solution.
The problem can be solved by updating the panel driver which can be downloaded at
http://www.synaptics.com/support/drivers
I hope this could help.

I have the same problem with my laptop. Reported it on the Apple 'Bug' page but I guess there is no way to know if it's fixed. So will check back on this topic page and hopefully find out if it's cured...
