iPhone not showing up in iPhoto

Suddenly and out of the blue, my iPhone doesn't show up anymore in iPhoto, so I can't get my photos off the camera :-/

I've not changed anything that I can think of so I don't get why it suddenly doesn't work anymore. I couldn't find support on this issue so I'm asking here 🙂

Thanks for all the great posts guys.

I fixed it by deleting images off my phone until suddenly I hit the image which was causing the problem, either it was corrupt or the file name was freaking everything out somehow. I had to delete about 20 images before I got to the culprit image and then suddenly my iPhone is working as normal again with iPhoto etc.

🙂

I had this problem + my iPhone was also disconnected from the iTunes after some time: iPhone was not showing anywhere on the computer, however it was syncronizing itself forever... After reading these messages, I could pinpoint the problem to the scanned photos (in jpg) I just had added to iPhoto. After removing them, all seems to be fine. Now I only don't know which scanned photo is the culprit, or all of them.
