I am making a movie that has audio recorded in different ways for different clips. So, for example, different clips have audio: from the video camera, from a Keynote .mov file, from iMovie voice over, from Jing screen capture voice over, ...
My problem is that these different clips play the audio at different levels in my iMovie project. Is there any easy way to get these all to play at the same level?
thanks for the advice and instructions. I did this, although the results were not as good as i would have hoped for. I ended up going in and manually changing the volume level of each clip one at a time.
Use the feature "Normalize Clip Volume". Select all the clips in the project (Edit>Select All). Double-click on one of the clips (or click on the small gear icon at the bottom left of one of the clips) to bring up the Inspector. Select Audio Adjustments. Near the bottom of the Inspector panel, click on the item "Normalize Clip Volume". This will bring the volume of all clips to an "even" level.
For information about this, go to iMovie Help in the Menu and search "Normalize Clip Volume".
