Canvas Full Screen View

OK, I've read all the instructions but it just does not make sense. I should be able to press command F12 to bring it up, but on my Mac Keyboard F12 is my volume control, so when I hit command F12 the dumb simble shows up for volume adjustment. Funny thing is F12 on my windows computer brought up my canvas to full screen. I also set another key for full video play back but only a single frame shows up. It should not be this hard with a Mac Keyboard!!

Go to System Preferences/Keyboard and check the box to activate the F keys for use with applications.

Hold the fn key located in the bottom-left corner of the keyboard while performing the keyboard shortcut that involves f keys.

OK, got it figured out. Command f12 to activate the full screen play back, and I need to press Control F7 to play it at normal speed, other F-keys will play back at faster or slower speeds, plus reverse. Odd though, my windows key board did it in just one tap of F12,,,,,still though, I likes my Mac keyboard better in an all around way.
