The iPad “Pete’s Pad” cannot be synced. The required file cannot be found.

I have been getting this all day. I have tried reducing the number of folders that I want synced from iPhoto, I have done a restore, I have switched USB cables, I have switched both my MacPro and iPad off and on. All to no avail. All software is up to date, double checked. The same error message keeps coming up. Anyone any ideas before I throw both out the window?

MacBookPro5,2, Mac OS X (10.6.3), iPad Model MB294B Version 3.2 There are 65 apps with 4+Gb spare space and I only want 1 Gg of photos

Try this. It worked for me after trying the other suggestions.

Open iTunes

If you are syncing Movies and Photos untick them one at a time.

Then click Apply after each one.

If you want to sync them then re-select each one.

I found that once I disabled syncing for both and re-enabled them the error stopped and I was then able to sync the iPad as normal.

My iPad 2 synced fine with iTunes before I updated the software today. Now I also get this crap of not being able to sync as some kind of file cannot be found. I've deleted the cache, restarted iTunes, hard-restarted the iPad, unclicked the photos to be synced, reclicked again and again and no go!

***?! I bought a Mac to get AWAY from this PC kind of problem! How the **** do I sort this out?
