.dsk to .img???

Question

.dsk to .img???

does anyone know where I can obtain software (freeware if possible) to convert .dsk disk image files to .img images?

Ibook (clamshell) G3, Mac OS 9.2.x

From what I gather it is a rather generic disk image. Also it seems to be more PC (as in Windows/DOS) related. I doubt if is has anything of Mac use but who knows. I have a link below that you may wish to check out.

the file is a generic disk image, and I need for a mac plus emulator, and the program (called vmac) will only accept .dsk images, and I want to be able to add/remove/edit files from these files, amd diskcopy 6.3.3 wont read them
