Pre-order confirmation
So I did the pre-order for the instore pickup and got the confirmation email. Where can I go online to make sure the confirmation email is authentic?
Why wouldn't your email confirmation be real?

Just to double check since there's no way for me to tell that my pre-order went through online.
Go to the apple store. Top right, click on account. Log in, view your order.
I ordered mine today, but no confirmation email. If I check on my account then the order is there. Any ideas why I didn't get a confirmation email?
Mine took at least 5-10 minutes to come. If it's been longer than that, though, then I'm not sure. Maybe check your spam? And definitely check your account online.
I got the confirmation email but when I go login online and under order status it does not show anything. I'm assuming that the order status online shows orders that have been placed/charged on a credit card. I only did the reservation.
I will wait for iPhone 4.1

If you go into your forum settings and set your view to Threaded, you can more easily see who replies to who.
i initially did the pre order online at the store and its screwy how the fine print in the confirmation. I would suggest getting there early if you did that.

I ordered mine around 7 this morning and still no email confirmation. At least it shows up in my account. Are we supposed to get one sometime?

I reserved 2 iphones from the apple stores. Got a message on both of them that "we will see you at the store." So I assume my order went through. But I haven't received and confirmation emails and the two orders didn't show up in my order status. Does anyone have an idea what happened? I bet my orders didn't go through.

I called apple and told them I ordered around 7 and I can view my order in order status as well as my card was charged already. yet no email. he said it can come anytime within 24 hours and that it doesn't mean the order didn't go through. he assured me I was good to go.... hope this helps
