Where and what person 'at apple' did you speak to regarding that? No-one appears to be getting those emails, I don't see why anyone would (you have agreed to the T&Cs already when you signed up with AT&T), and no emails are being sent when orders are prepared for shipment.
Once shipped out (likely tomorrow) a 'shipped' notification will go out.
They'll get delivered on the 24th (if they make it to the US early, they'll have a depot hold with Fedex or UPS - whichever carrier they use).
Nothing new 🙂

not saying that - i have no reason not to believe you!
I would guess though - just by my own and apparently everyone (?) else's experience that either he/she was wrong, or there is something different about your account with AT&T - but again, I doubt they would actually know.
Bottom-line, if your order status says 'delivered on the 24th' no matter if it is prepared for shipment yet or not, there is no reason to think you won't get it that day 🙂

When I ordered my Ipad May 22nd my Bank of America account had a pending charge for a few days.... then is disappeared and the funds were returned. On June 5th it shipped, June 7th my account was charged and on June 9th it was delivered.

BTW: My Iphone order is still at not yet shipped status and like the ipad the pending charge is gone. I finally got my order through at 5:30 or so on the 15th and have delivery date of the 24th and Im in Virgina to.

i was told the same thing by an att rep and i still have yet to get one.i spoke to another rep in the att department that is in the online store and she said in all her 3 years of working there she has never heard of that.you accept the terms and conditions when u activate your phone through i tunes which makes sense.i mean think about it...why would they send something so sensitive to ur email especially since you havent even gotten/activated the phone yet.i think we're fine.some ppl just dont know what theyre talking about.and im sure, if ur order has gone thru, money is taken out of ur account and u got all the emails then ur good.nothing is getting canceled at this point.ima new customer by the way whch leads me to believe that this terms and conditons email is not existant cuz they didnt even send me my phone number in the emails ive gotten,i had to call around for it.but the second email letting me know my order had be recieved and was processing specifically stated that i wouldnt get another email til it was shipped and if they needed anything else they would notify me.so--no other emails=youre good.

guys please dont let this phone make you grow gray hairs lol we'll all have the phone in our itchy palms soon enough 🙂
