My Apple delivery order status is now Prepared for Shipment! 🙂

I got the email from ATT with the CSS a couple of hours before my Apple delivery order changed to Prepared for Shipment.

I'm sure more orders will change to PFS soon and will still get there on 6/24. 😉

This isn't technical or off topic, so it will probably get deleted like my post about the CSS email. This forum is getting ridiculous. Half the posts in this Basic forum aren't technical.

Alas after a call from AT&T about porting my cell #, my apple order page has the mythical "Prepared for shipment", I FINALLY joined the club! 🙂

Those of you that are showing "prepared for shipment", which site did u order from? I think the ATT site will only show you that it is "in progress" or has actually "shipped".

Hi,

Ordered mine at 7:20 AM PST Tuesday from the Apple Store and it still says, not yet shipped. It does say, delievers on the 24th.

ordered from apple at 3:26 pacific. got prepared for shipment and the css email yesterday. also had my bank account charged then it disappeared. normal from what apple told me. they are just authorizing the amount to make sure the money is in there

In response to Latrice, I ordered mine at an AT&T corperate store, my status is "in progress". I was actually at the store Tuesday morning but the system was down. They copied my credit card details then called approx. 4pm to let me know they were up and needed approval to go ahead with the charge. I did ok and wahla! Note: when checking my cedit card online I noticed the charge had fallen off, I called AT&T and was assured of a recharge when i4 was ready to ship.

FWIW mine is still "Not Shipped". Ordered at 5:06 PM PDT after trying on and off for six hours. I did receive a CSS email from AT&T, but they send me one every month, so not sure that's relevant.

Still says "delivery on June 24" so I expect it will arrive Thurs next (hey, that's only 5 days from now!). Meanwhile, I'll upgrade my 3GS to OS 4 on Monday and use that to get my apps organized into folders and such.
