how to listen real player files on iPhone?

Hi,
While sitting in traffic I would like to listen archive files/programs of a European radio station. The files are in Real Player format. When I click on a link (to a file) I get a message "Safari cannot download this file." Is there an app which would allow playing those files? If not for the iPhone then for the iPad? Or would they play on an other type of phone? I am trying to find a solution for a long time, so I hope someone could help.
(If needed I can cut&paste a link, but they work on a computer, so one would only be able to see the problem on an iPhone.)
Thank you, Steven

Realplayer is available on Android and Symbian but its NOT full featured
No browser plug in and NO MEDIA streaming.

Fact is very few media organisations now use Helix codecs exclusively.

Realplayer on mobile devises is a dead duck period.

The BBC for instance use a variety of delivery methods such as their iPlayer and is accessible via several widgets (On mac) and a whole list of iPhone Radio tuner Apps these days.

And if you really want to hit your data allowance on ANY mobile devise streaming radio does a excellent job for you.

What you need is one of the MANY radio apps available - for instance Tunein Radio is one for the Iphone its very likely that your chosen station or at least one of similar genre can be found for your pleasure (DATA use not withstanding)

And with ios4 next week you will be able to run the app in the back ground whilst talking, browsing etc.......

Do not use Realplayer as your only excuse to go to Android as you will be sorely disappointed with the resulting experience.
