Safari Internet Filter

Ok, I've been looking all over the place for a FREE internet filter for safari. Does anybody know of any? Thanks a lot.

Do you know that Safari itself has some filtering capabilities?

Open Systems Preferences, select your account, then choose "Parental Controls". You'll see an entry for Safari and a button for "Configure...".
You can only do basic filtering there, though. Is that what you meant by Internet filtering, or did you have something more sophisticated in mind?

How I wish the Parental Controls allowed importing a black-list, and let users subscribe to a paid or volunteer list of their choice -- a group that maintain's a current black-list. With RSS and XML this shouldn't be too hard. Apple -- please put this on our wish list for an upcoming update to TIGER.

Any Apple Wizards listening who have done something cleaver with Automator, Scripting, XML...?

For the record -- I bought TIGER specifically for the Parental Controls -- and IMHO it is not what I would call a useful internet filtering system. - hp
