how to create a useable checklist

in microsoft word you can create a checklist that is "checkable" - in other words, you click the box and it allows you to change the value to "checked." very helpful when creating to-do lists that you want to check off electronically.

in pages, i can not find a similar feature. does anyone know of one?

i realize there is a template with a checklist format...however, it is not "checkable" and therefore not very useful! 🙂 and you can make a bulleted list with "boxes" but they are not "checkable" either. 😟

please offer solutions, suggestions, or workarounds if you have one....
thanks!

Hi theoneandrea

Welcome to the forum. 🙂

Try [Qu-s|http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/30061/qu-s] it is absolutely gorgeous and puts the checklists where you want them and can't miss them on your desktop.

Watch the short tutorials on the developer's website. It does so much more than just simple checklists.

I love it. I wish all Mac software was this clean, well laid out and used such few resources.

Thank you everyone! I've decided that the best choice right now is to use Numbers to create a Checklist from their template entitled "Checklist" (which I didn't know existed!). I still wish that you could add this operational button to Pages without having to add a table or Numbers spreadsheet, but for now this will do!

Thanks for all your help,
Andrea

Wishing is useless. Here we aren't Apple employees. If you really wish to pass your wih to Apple :

_Go to "Provide Pages Feedback" in the "Pages" menu_, describe what you wish.
Then, cross your fingers, and wait _at least_ for iWork'11 😉
