Pioneer avic d3 bluetooth

Hi all, I just received my iphone 4 to replace my 3G I paired it to my D3 and no one can understand me (explained to me as I sound underwater), audio is perfect on my end. I had no problems with my 3G. I tried turning off echo cancel on the Pioneer with no improvement. I deleted and re paired with no improvement. I also paired the phone with a headset and it works perfect so it seems the phone is o.k. Are there any other settings or things that I can try???

We're you able to load your iPhone 4s phone book/contact list on the avic D3?

This fixed mine! I've been putting up with no streaming for quite a while and now it works, automatically connects everytime I get in the car. Thank you!

I realise that this is probably years out of date but thank you so much for this post! I have just bought a car with this system and it was driving me nuts that it wasn't connecting automatically to my phone when in the car. Without communitites like this people would have no means of solving such problems. A massive thank you to you sir!
