iPad gone crazy, typing by itself. Replacement only option?

My iPad have never worked, 5-10 min after I started it it is typing by itself. Like a self playing piano. This video illustrates the problem http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fkP0dfw598k&feature=related

So, do I have to return it or can it be fixed somehow?

There has been at least one previous post on same/similar problem. I do not remember the resolution. Why not make an appointment at your local Apple Genius Bar?

But first I would do a reset and if that did not fix it I would do restore from backup and last a total restore to new condition and add thinks back manually.

Hopefully you did not get any liquid on the screen or between screen and case.

Please at least arrange a phone call with Apple support. We need them to acknowledge this as a known issue so they will replace them under warranty. I have yet to get Apple to replace my iPad with this issue, because I can't replicate the issue at will.
