Syncing notes onto my iPad

I understand this, but I am asking you where you then view your notes; in Mail or the Notes app?

Another addition, the Notes folder in Mail app is not on the iPhone. The notes are in the Notes app on the iPhone. On the iPad, the Notes folder in Mail app is there, but the notes can not be edited.

ps I found the "Reminders" tab, under which are my Notes mailboxes.

"Are you talking about the MobileMe Mail here? I don't have a "Reminders" mailbox."

Give up on Mac Notes. Use Evernote. It is a free Ipad app. It does exactly what you need. (I got this suggestion from a helpful and honest rep when I called the Apple Support line. It's nice to know that Apple has this integrity when there is a soft spot in its code.)
