Bro,
it doesnt work for mine... i gusse some real problem need to go to apple store
to everyone for whom the fix didnt work or it was a recurrent problem, I guess if its outside the warranty period, just open the screw below, open the lid and near the motor of the vibrator is this small clear tape, just get rid of it and it would work hopefully..
Really I am thankfull for mrshinyteeth it worked fine for me. I had to hit it a bit harder
Worked for me too! Thank you so much!
You sir, Are a genius. Solved it for me. 🙂
Thank you so much. For helping I didn't exactly tape my iPhone 4, but I just activated ibrate app and pressed with my finger on the top right corner where the camera is located. It started working, I didn't even press
It that hard I pressing you finger lightly will trigger the vibrate motor
Thanks MrShinyTeeth! 😎 I followed your steps and my iPhone4 seems to have returned to normal vibrating operations. Hopefully it keeps vibrating consistently/correctly so that I can keep delaying the purchase of my next iPhone.
My wife phone 4S and mine 4 are having the same problem after the upgrade to IOS 6.1.3. I can hear the vibration when I use the silent button at the side but not vibrating only on incomming calls.
this is just amazing!!! it worked very well! thank you so much!!! 🙂
Awsm.. Got it to work :) cheers
Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu !!
Worked for me too !
Although gentle taps didn't work, I went a little harsh smaking it on my palm for about a minute.
Thanks again
General - reset - reset all settings = will make it work again, as simple as that!
Cobra...Not all the time. I tried it and it did not fix my problem.
The Tech Support Guys at Apple had not heard of the problem yet...offered to swap out the phone, which I am not sure I want to do over a possible software issue. The tech support guy I talked to said that he had "elevated the issue" and I gave him the link to this forum.
It worked! Thanks a lot! :)
Worked just fine for me
