iPhone 4 not vibrating at all

So my phone isn't vibrating at all for calls or sms on either loud or silent. Vibrate is enabled in settings for both. Am I doing something wrong here? Any suggestions? How long do we think it will be before I can get a replacement?

Hey guys. i was having the same problem . the other day my iphone suddenly stopped vibrating and it was like an arrow straight to my heart. i tried every solution but couldnt find the way to correct it. however i started to check my phone . it is a hardware problem and YOU CAN SOLVE IT AT YOUR OWN THE WAY I DID IT.

First of all all you have to do is to download iBrate Vibrate. once it is downloaded open the app and place your finger on the screen and gently tap your phone at the place near to the headphone jack. i mean the place between the power button and headphone jack. it will start working.

Still if anybody has any query he can contact me on skypee. my id is zahid_razmian or he can text me on whatsappp on +923139550366

thanks

That unfortunately never helped with the same problem which I had. I have found another solution, but it's definitely a long process. Firstly, I opened iTunes and reset the phone with my data backed up; once that was completed I restored the phone with the data that I wanted, this never solved anything. I finally came to conclusion that it might be a technical fault; so I repeated the same process but without restoring any data at all including pictures, videos and contacts, practically a factory reset. The problem was sorted with the factory reset and came to the conclusion that it was a technical fault, although the disadvantages were that I had to manually restore the data which I wanted.
