    After "Resetting All Settings" AND MANUALLY changing the date and time my iphone 3g is working.

     

    MAKE SURE you double check that the time AND date, including the year, are correct. I missed the year the first time as it's in a different menu

    i tried to change date, it worked only for updates. now update is working but still, when i try to download any app from store again it says cannot connect to itune store. any solution???

    Hello There,Well Today I Was Trying to Restore My iPhone 3gs and it kept staying on recovery mode.I tryed so many ways to Restore my iPhone 3gs 6.0.I Tryed to Restore From Itunes and It Keeps Giving Me Errors.I been Trying for 5 hours already.!!!! IOS 6 IS THE WORST UPDATE EVER.!!!!!

    finally I got it worked.

     

    changing the date and time an year ahead and turning off the "automatic" worked for me.

     

    I have tried resetting all settings but in vain.

    APPLE should FIX the problem. It's annoying.

    Notsure if this has been suggested as I haven't time to check. But the following worked for me: settings, wifi, choose yr network, blue arrow on far right, DHCP, tap on DNS field (4th one down) on keyboard remove number and add 8.8.8.8 (info from ipadinsight.com)

    Please do like this it will clearly fix this issue.

     

    1. Connect your iphone,ipad or ipod with itunes through you pc.

    2. Click Store --- View my account- log in

    3. Update your bank details and all other personal details properly specially your bank card details should be       match with your home adress. Dont worry untill purchasing anything you wont get charge its just registering your card details.

    4.Scroll down and on Settings you can see "Reset all warnings for buying and download."  Please press RESET.

    And wait for this process to get done after that sync your iphone, ipad or ipod again through itunes and disconnect it from the pc.

     

    NOW YOUR DEVICE WILL BE FREE FROM THIS ERROR MESSAGE.

    Ghifarr, you are a genius.

    My problem started the day that Apple activated the new @icloud.com email for me. I guess that this created an issue with my authorization to the iTunes Store. So by simplying de-authorizing and re-authorizing my iTunes Store account, I am now able to update iOS apps again.

    This isn't a gaurantee. On many occasions you have to actually be able to sign in to the store even with the iphone etc connected. Today this doesn't work for me. However, resetting the router does. It appears there are many reasons for this happening on ios 6.

    I found a fix. Go to Settings and click on iTunes & App Stores,

    then click your Apple ID and sign out, after go back to settings

    and reset all settings. After the reset go back into Settings and

    click on iTunes & App Stores, sign in and then it should work.
