I setup my phone to pull my emails from my msn account, but can only read the preview email. When I click on the message to view the body of the text, it shows sender information and date and time sent, but no text in the body. I've since adjusted the preview pane to read 5 lines as this is all I can view at this time. Your help is appreciated.
I was having the same problem - I couldn't view the body of my messages even if I was typing one to send. Quitting all apps in the multi-tasking bar seems to fix it, hopefully until there is a permanent fix.
Same problem here. iPhone 4, exchange. Worked fine for a few days, but then I couldn't even see the bodies of e-mails that I could see before. Turning the phone off/on brought back the bodies.
Same problem here. I downloaded iOS4 Friday and it's been fine until today around noon. Went all day not being able to see the body of the email.....until I just turned the phone off and back on again. Problem solved.
I've had this same problem multiple times. It seems a reboot fixes it every time, but it's very annoying. I've even installed the exchange profile as indicated here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3398 and it's still happening. Anyone else having recurring problems with this???
I'm having same issue with iTouch. Upgraded to OS4 and created gmail account to use DocsToGo app. The body of email is gone. This is true of my aol account as well. Turning iTouch on-and-off does not bring back email bodies. Other readers say REBOOT. Is that on-and-off or something else. This happened while I was traveling and created a problem for me (extended preview to max not helpful). Thanks.
I have the same problems. I have four accounts: Mobile me, Gmail, an Imap account, and an exchange account. All emails are listed but when I select one the body of the email stays blank.
Rebooting does the trick. For now...
I have an iPhone 3GS 16 GB (Model MC131ZP, firmware 05.13.04) bought at Virgin in the UAE (factory unlocked). I upgraded to iOS 4.0.2 (8A400). My phone company is Etisalat. Everything else works fine. I still have 10GB available.
Same problem...when I click on the message to view the body of the text, it shows sender information and date and time sent, but no text in the body. I only see the first three lines.
