iphone 4 Camera taking pictures with orange/yellow hues...

After an hour experimentation with changed cases we determined the blue cast was indeed coming from the case and the orange/yellow cast was due to a reflection of the flash off my hand/fingers near the flash source on the rear camera. Changing the way we hold the camera gave us a near perfect photo in a darkened area.

No case and all night-time pics are ruined by a complete yellow mess.

This seems to be a pretty big problem and yet again Apple are ignoring it

There's a new filter for the iPhone App Photo Sweets that fixes yellowing of skin caused by the LED flash. It's called the "iPhone Flash Fix Filter". Here's a tutorial on how it works. Photo Sweets is available on the iPhone App Store for $.99.

I had a protective film covering the camera lense & flash and had the exact same issues. In low light my pictures came out with a blue hue. After removing the protective film my camera takes perfect pictures. The film was clearly affecting the optics. Hope this helps.

So glad I looked on here, I had problem all my pics from last night were coming out grey, when the flash was used. Tried this morning same problem. Just read the latest post, removed the protective film and hey presto .. working perfectly.. thanks prod23 🙂

Discovered today that the otterbox and other coverings can move over time and cover the lense...when this happens the images can become filmy, smokey, and/or tinted. Removing the covering resolves the issue.

I have this problem with almost every photo I take in doors with my iPhone. Part of it is due to the fact most indoor lighting is incandescent.

I use this Photoshop trick to fix it...
