No sim card removal tool?

I got my IP 4 this afternoon and so far, I think it's a great improvement over the previous 3G S. Absolutely no trouble with phone, wifi or 3G.

I realize the phone doesn't use a standard sim card. However, wondering why there was no sim card removal tool like the one that came with the 3G and the 3G S. I suppose a paper clip will do the job if push came to shove.

Have you had a look inside the little packet?
I just checked mine again, and the tool is actually on a little holder inside the info pack, not on the outside. Just a hope!

read the thread

I have read the thread, in fact if you care to read the thread you will see that I have posted my comments on the issue and thought we had narrowed it down to being only supplied to the UK.

I just made a final check to see where it was located in the hope that some people may missed it.

Your post added nothing!

For what it's worth, the packing list doesn't indicate that at least in the U.S. we got the sheet of Apple stickers. I've never yet used a sim removal tool, and out of nearly 25 years of buying Apple products have not once used any sticker given. But given the choice of cutting costs I'd give up my sticker to have gotten a removal tool. Just saying, to be honest, there's a bunch of crap that comes in any package that I'd never use so why keep that in lieu of something that I might use.

Thanks to all for solving this problem and agreeing that the US models don't get the sim card tool. The only time I've used the previous tools was to remove the sim cards before selling my old model. As to the cost of the removal tool, maybe 2 cents. I hope some bean counter got a bonus for this idea.

Re the Apple stickers, I assume Apple is looking for some free advertising (perhaps on car windows?) I've got a bunch of them and I used them for my sliding glass patio doors so that no one walking into a closed door thinking it's open.

Two other items that were included with the 3G were the little old black wiping cloth and the small plastic stand that the 3G "rested" in while I was watching a video. The stand was great for holding the IP at a good viewing angle. I just tried the stand with the new IP 4.0 and it doesn't work very good.

I don't think either of these items were included with the 3G S either.
