Just bought Screens and it's really great!
Long time Mocha user, but no longer! ;)
Thanks for the suggestion!
I personally use iTeleport which is great! not only do I screen share/mirror I also extend desktops and use the ipad as an interface device ehich is a GODSEND when I am away from my office and have left a document on my Mac. It's also quick, I have used Coral Painter and other graphic apps from my iPad that is controlling my Mac, a little costly but a solid application!
I read in the thread that Screens VNC has full gesture support instead of cursor. Is Screens VNC the only iOS VNC alternative where it's possible to use gestures?
I was thinking of buying either Splashtop or RealVNC, but if they lack gesture support I'm might reconsider since gestures normally is a good thing.
It may be of interest that ,VNC Pocket Office Pro is the fastest VNC remote viewer on the iPad and soon to become a universal app on the app store. for more info goto http://www.parystec.com/Pocket_office_iPad.html.
I just bought an iPad Air and was looking for an app to control my Mac media server in the back room. I do this using screen sharing on my MacBook.
When I searched for an app it seems like iTap VNC was the most recommended. When I went to their site they say the product was discontinued.
What happened did they get bought out. Is it called by another name.
What app does what this app did.
