ipads and velcro video WARNING

Just be careful, whoise who wish to use velcro to stick their ipads to their car dashboards.

The adhesive on those velcro strips will melt into a god awful goo in the heat of a car parked in the sun. It will never come off unless you want to ruin your dashboard and the back of your iPad.

I work for a large police dept, we use the velcro to attach radar units. It works fine on flat surfaces, even when it turns to goo, but it will ruin your dashboard. I don't see this working for long on a steep angle in a blazing hot car. After awhile you can remove the velcro and just use the nasty sticky goo left behind to stick your ipad to everything...
