Internet Explorer web browser app for iphone 4?
Is there an IE web browser app or one that mimics EI?

No. Microsoft hasn't even made IE for the Mac in years.

Why on earth would you want something that mimics IE? It's by far the worst web browser available for any platform on so many different levels.

Ok so recomend a better browser app? I just mentioned IE because it's what I'm use to.
Are you having a problem with Safari? If not, use it. You can also get Opera from the Apps Store.

Safari for the iPhone.
(And while I'm at it, I'd wholeheartedly recommend Firefox or Chrome for Windows 7 - far faster, more secure and way more standards compliant than IE).

I don't really like Safari. I wanted something that was more like a regular browser. Safari seems limited. Is opera better than Safari?
Safari and Opera are both going to appear "limited" on the iPhone.

You're not going to get something more like a desktop browser (if that's what you mean by regular) on any device with a 3.5 inch screen.

In what way? Safari is almost universally regarded as being the best mobile browser on any device. It's support for web standards, and its rendering engine are far better than what you are used to in IE.

Are you referring to Safari's HTML rendering engine (it's ability to display websites accurately), or features of the browser itself?
If I'm not mistaken, your only real options on the iPhone are Safari or Opera.
Personally I like Safari better, as gestures and scrolling in it just seem to work "smoother". I do, however, opt for Opera when traveling abroad. With Opera's iPhone app, your webpage is loaded and rendered on a server, and then sent in a compressed format to your iPhone, therefore using less data.
But since Opera mini is free, I would just suggest you just try out both of your options a bit and see which you like best!

Well I guess I was expecting too much for a phone browser. But thanks for the info on Safari.

Maybe if you say what you want, people can make suggestions with alternative browsers - there are quite a few. They all share the same HTML rendering engine as Safari, but have different user interfaces and browser features.
