im also still on day 15! and yes we both pre ordered the same model. but false alarm turns out some guy my friend knows made the email and sent it to him because he knew how badly he was anticipating it. He even went to the trouble of making a fake email address to send it from. But seriously this wait is going on way to long. Apple had to have had some sort of idea about how many phones they where going to sell. This slow production time is beginning to make me believe that once apple saw the flaws in the early phones they stopped production for awhile to somehow improve it.

On July 4 I was in a Apple store in Nashville. The salesperson told me the priority list was 4-7 days. I told him that I did not live in Nashville, but in Columbus, Ohio. He said I could put my name on the priority list for the Columbus store. I did.
Today (7/13) I went into the store to ask if they could tell me how far from the top of the list I was. They couldn't tell me but asked me how long I was on their list. I told them and was told that their list was 5 weeks long. I left and went to the ATT store.

I went into the Apple Store at Easton (Columbus) and signed up for their priority list. Today is July 13 and the only thing that's changed since then is that I've received the same "up the waiting list" email everyone got about a week ago.

However, a friend of mine ordered iphones for her and her family on July 5 and today said it had shipped for delivery tomorrow, July 13.

I dont know how long exactly the waitlist is in other places, but it seems like Columbus' would be pretty long b/c it's the only one in the area. I gave up waiting on my iPhone from the Apple store and went ahead and ordered it from the AT&T store. I was told the company line is 2 weeks, but that people had been receiving them in as little as 5-7 days.

Got my "*congratulations your iPhone has arrived*" this morning. It also says you can pick it up on 7/15 and choose a pickup time.

Info: Washington Square, Portland, OR
_*Priority list*_: 7/2/2010
_*Moving up email*_: 7/8/2010
_*iPhone avail email*_: 7/14/2010
*_iPhone pickup_*: 7/15/2010

That is about 1week earlier than the 3week online ordering.

But I ordered my iPhone online on 6/25/2010, and it should be delivered to my house tomorrow ...

Hope this is helpful info 🙂
