Mine started Sunday and is both iPhone n iPad so that rules out the iPhone only issue.
My iphone is doing the same thing, no sound when the Facebook alert comes through. All other alerts are fine.
lol yes my fingers will be crossed also 🙂
IOS6 didn't cure it.....
Was in my way to postin the same thing. I am at a loss
for words! Very disappointed!
atleast i know i havent gota get my phone booked in for a years wait repair if everyone else is getting this

I'm also having this problem since last week 3GS on iOS6. One minute it worked, the next minute sound was gone.
Same problem here folks...All I can say is report it to FB thru that link that someone put up in this thread and hopefully they will fix it...I'm sure a lot of people are affected by it!

Somebody else said they talked to Apple, Apple advised it wasn't a phuck up on their end....Facebook issue...
My I Phone 4 has also lost the sound when Facebook Notifications come through only since I downloaded the IOS 6 though please hurry up and fixt this problem !!!
