Same story here. I ordered on June 16th with delivery estimate of 5th-6th July. Got email that iPhone 4 was shipped on schedule from China on July 1st.
Now my order tracking says Delivery estimated 15th July! There is also no other tracking or courier information available. The Apple order tracking website has no Carrier Tracking Number and no Assigned Carrier. The order tracking website simply says:
"In transit to final destination - carrier details to be updated shortly."
I called Apple to see why the delay has occurred in shipping and I got a woman who said "Sir, orders that come internationally from the factory take longer to deliver than the initial estimate we give you, which is based on the time from a UK warehouse."
(This Apple customer service rep lady was noticeably just reading this line from a script. Obviously I don't think this is true. Apple knows they are coming from China and estimates how long it takes, but there must be some shipping delay for this batch because the delivery is now 9 days longer than Apple thought.)
So, I then asked the woman why it was that lots of people's iPhones shipped internationally from China on the 1st of July and already arrived at their homes in accordance with the initial estimate. She said "Sir, I don't know about other peoples orders."

The rep did said that she thinks the phone is in Luxembourg and that the 15th June is probably correct. I asked if she could estimate when it will be in the UK. She said "Probably some time before the 15th sir".

Oh well, looks like no iPhone until at least the 15th. 😟 So sad. Looks like other people are in the same boat too. Good Luck
