July 1st despatch date problem UK?

TNT just called me to say that... they have lost the truck. No clue where it is. Seriously. They will call back tomorrow.

How can you lose a truck?

FINALLY there is a new update with my shipment after I called Apple. I told them that is really weird that the package is more than 3 days in Arnhem without any update. They confirmed that something went wrong and they will ask TNT where the delivery is. This morning then the update...Iphone is now in Lyon. Let's hope they will deliver it today.

Btw TNT's excuse was the Tour de France. Due to that some delays occured...Yeah, right hahahahahahaah

I received my phone today!! Before At 8:20am! Very happy!

For future iphone 4 buyers in the uk, the apple tracking website seems to not work for some shipments from china, but they arrive anyway and mine arrived earlier than they thought. My story is:
I never saw any tracking info or had any valid tracking numbers. Apples tracking website always said that my shipment was "Merge in Transit GB" and "In transit to final destination - carrier details to be updated shortly." Estimated Delivery said July 5-6th when I ordered (June16th). The item shipped on July 1st and when that happened I got an email saying Estimated Delivery July 14th. A day later it said Estimated Delivery July 15th. And I actually received my phone today which is June 9th from UPS! I called apple once during this time to ask why there was no tracking and they did not seem to know where it was either but were guessing July 15th was correct. So, if you don't see tracking info don't despair, but also don't trust the Estimated shipping date!

FINALLY SOME EFFORT! But TNT might deliver it tomorrow, or dont they deliver on saturdays!?

Even mine has updated overnight and is out in the van for delivery by UPS today 🙂

Mine arrived at the local TNT depot in the early hours of Wednesday. By 17:00 they still hadn't delivered it, so I just drove to the depot and collected it. Looks like they would of sat on it for at least another day, so glad I was pro-active. 🙂 Great phone, really pleased with it (but you all already know that I'm sure ;)).

I had exactly the same. Mine has not arrived yet but is out for delivery with UPS. Late last night it was still showing as 'in transit to final destination'.

Amazing. Not only they found back the truck, but actually delivered it ! Finally...

UPS delivered mine to Borderlinx.
Now they have an "iPhone 4 tsunami" and not enough people for processing the orders. And they don't work at weekens....

When will it be in Germany? Maybe 1 week, maybe 2.
Another frustrating waiting period.
