I am having a problem that is a variation on your problem. I have an iPad (4th generation) Wi-Fi + Cellular (MM). Ordered my iPad directly from Apple along with the Apple Bluetooth Keyboard. At seemingly random intervals, the first key I press gets repeated 2 or 3 times. So let's say that a dialogue box pops up requesting my password and let's suppose that my password is "password." (Of course, it isn't!) I would type "password" and what shows up on the screen is "ppassword" or "pppassword." This would be frustrating enough, but I use "forScore" to read music and when I tried using a bluetooth page turner with it, it randomly turns 2 or 3 pages at once. If you are a musician, you can imagine what this does to a performance. Having 200+ people watching you scramble to turn the page back doesn't do anything good for Apple's reputation. I have tried restoring my software, unpairing and re-pairing the devices, I have disabled all notifications, I have closed all programs, I have restarted the device. I have tried turning off the "wifi". So far, nothing works. If anybody finds a fix, I'd love to know about it!
I had the same problem and as the other Sam says in this thread, I returned my keyboard and got a replacement and presto the problem was solved ............ the keyboard was an Apple wireless FWIW.
Cheers,
Sam
It seems unlikely to me that the keyboard is the problem, since I am having the same problem with PageFlip Cicada Bluetooth Pedal Automatic Page Turner. When I click the page turn foot pedal, it occasionally flips 2 pages. Both the keyboard and the page turner connect via bluetooth and both exibit the same problem of randomly executing a repeated key stroke. The bluetooth keyboard is annoying, but relatively inocuous, but when I am doing a live concert and my music flips 2 pages at once, it is a disaster.
wi-fi interference might be common during a concert. have you tried turning the wi-fi off? if this works, the device is defective.
also, you may wish to try the airturn, assuming it's compatible with your device/app combination.

I also wanted to provide this list of common sources of bluetooth and wi-fi interference:

In some cases, (as in my case) the bluetooth device may be interfered with by the ipad's wi-fi chip itself.
