MacBook Pro to S Video

Hello, need some help. I am trying to connect my Macbook Pro to a projector with only an s-video and composite video connector (Sony VPL W400Q). I know I need a MiniDisplayport to VGA adapter (I think) and then possibly a VGA-to-S Video converter, or a VGA-to-S Video adapter.

Can someone help me out? Thanks

That combination isn't going to work. The Apple mini-Displayport to DVI adapter ends in a DVI-D female, and the Apple DVI to Video adapter has a DVI-I male plug that can't be connected to that DVI-D.

Instead, what will be needed is the mini-Displayport to VGA adapter and a conversion box like this:

And of course an S-Video cable.
