When I try to remove the extension, I get a message that the extension is part of the application. How do I remove the application?
Here's what I get if I try to delete the AdBlock application in the Applications folder:
The item "adBlock.app" can't be moved to the Trash because it's open.
I have deleted from the toolbar, but I cannot seem to close it.
Sadly, I cannot delete fro Safari Preferences / Extensions. Here'e what I get if I try:
The “AdBlock Icon” extension is part of the “AdBlock” application. To uninstall “AdBlock Icon”, you must remove the “AdBlock” application.
But I cannot uninstall because something is causing it to run (probably in the background?)
Safari 12.0.2:
Safari : Preferences : Extensions panel. The ad block extension should have an Uninstall button. You may have to uncheck the extension before removal.
Try deleting the AdBlock application.
