Function keys not working

I had my macbook taken to the guiness bar to fix a battery issue. In the process they disabled my function keys and now they will not work. Is there a way to fix this issue? I tried to reset PRAM, I do not have the F1 or F2 option checked off in system preferences. This is a huge annoyance for me and would like this issue resolved

function keys not working I just had my MacBook battery replaced and they also changed the top case in the process. Now, when I press the "volume" keys or the "light" keys (basically any "function" key), none of them are working. They "lower volume" key (aka F11), removes all windows to show the desktop. I didn't change any keyboard configurations and haven't noticed anything strange when I check them in the "Settings / Keyboard".

You will have to reprogram the keys.

I never did when I took my macbook to apple to repair it they disabled the keys and never reabled them
