Apple Watch 2 rapidly zooming in and out glitch

As of today, my Apple Watch has started zooming in and out rapidly, as if the the crown is being twisted very fast from side to side. Notification centre just bounces the notifications up and down with difficulty in dismissing them, battery is also rapidly going down throughout the day. Any ideas of a fix would be greatly received. Would rather not have to be shell out an exorbitant fee of over £200 for it to be serviced, disgraceful fee, more than half the price of the watch 2 years ago 😡

Start with a forced reset just in case the software has got confused. Press and hold both buttons (together, about 10 seconds) until the Apple appears and the watch reboots. If that doesn’t clear the problem, go into the Watch app in your iPhone and disable the zoom function to restore control. My Watch / General / Accessibiliy / Zoom.
