PDF export from same version of Pages in High Sierra and Mojave now has bad shadows

Export of PDF from the same version og Pages (7.3) from High Sierra to Mojave has lost accuracy of shadows. See attached screen cuts of the original in Pages (with settings), the High Sierra PDF export (perfect) and the Mojave PDF export (bad). The original graphics being added some shadow to is a PNG generated by Photoshop Elements 14.1.

Preview PDF transparency bug? As far as I can tell there is some kind of problem with the PREVIEW app with some kinds of PDF file. Transparent layers in some kinds of PDF file just come out as SOLID BLACK. This doesn't happen with other PDF programs. It's been this way since Capitan so maybe it's something unrelated to the O/S? If you've heard of this before what PDF files are affected? How can I effectively replace the preview app? What do you recommend? Adobe seems heavy and slow.

Apple 4444 transparent background not working in iMovie on Mac Studio My Apple 4444 files with transparent backgrounds made in Keynote are not working in iMovie on my Mac Studio. Instead of being transparent the backgrounds are black. The same exact files do work properly on my Late 2018 iMac running Big Sur. Has anyone had this problem? Is there a fix?

FCPX 10.6.1 png exporting with black background - how to fix? Hi all, I saw a thread on this from a while ago... never had an issue with this in my previous version of FCPX 10.4.6, but now in 10.6.1 on an M1 Mac Mini, I seem to be unable to export a png from a keyed image without the background appearing black. Have tried tiff, png, psd all with the same results, all with black background. Any ideas how to bering the transparency back? Thank you!
