Skipping remote management during IOS setup

I recently purchased a second hand ipad online and when I got it and started it up I found that it had remote management installed and was assigned to a company.

I was however given the option to 'skip' remote management and setup the ipad as normal.

I am wondering if there is any way the person who installed the remote management on the device can access it, track it or remotely wipe it.

Greetings, megahertzz.

I see that you've purchased a used iPad and it appears to have been managed by a company. You're wondering if they can remotely erase it, and I'm happy to help.

Get started with a supervised iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch -- Since you successfully set up your iPad, this article provides information to make sure that your iPad is no longer managed. If it's still being managed, see if you can locate information regarding the company in Settings > General > Profiles & Device Management.

Take care!
