Remote Management system

Hi, I bought an Ipad brand new and now a few months down the line it started giving me trouble. We noticed that all of a sudden it is remotely managed by Ashton Woods company. How do I get this fixed. I’ve never

heard of the company and how did they managed to install this on an ipad they’ve never owned?

iPad (6th gen) WiFi, Cellular

Thanks for the reply. The lawyer option might be the only one to get this fixed.

Did you contact "Ashton Woods company" directly and ask them?

If they provisioned the iPad they can deprovision the iPad through their MDM.

We’ve taken the ipad to apple support, they did a reset but said it will happen again because of this company. How it is possible that a company can just take over control of a device without ever having the device?

You'd have to ask Apple that question.

I'd have a lawyer draft a cease and desist letter to Aston Woods company and then start billing them for the use of your iPad.
