photo calendar

I made a calendar but cannot purchase it. I get this message


Ordering is no longer available for this version of Photos. Upgrade to the latest version before ordering.

That error message is misleading - upgrading your Mac will not allow you to order your Calendar from Apple:

You can no longer order any books from Apple. Apple closed down the Print Product stores after September 30.

You have two options now:

  1. Save the calendar you created as a PDF file and upload it to a print service, that will print from the PDF files. for example, Mimeo. This post explains how to get the calendar printed by Mimeo: Perfect alternative to printing calendars… - Apple Community
  2. Or install third party project extensions for Photos. This is possible in Photos 3.0 on High Sierra or Photos 4.0 on Mojave. The Mimeo Photos project extension can migrate older photos projects to a new format and then print the book or Calendar.
