ipad 3 podcast running on slow audio

Hi, my ipad 3 podcasts have suddenly started running on slow half speed audio. i have tried a hard reset and deleting all settings etc but to no avail. Help please..

I found another discussion like the question you are having: podcasts for iOS 9.3.1 how to adjust play… - Apple Community. It should be in the same general location on the iPad.

Hi Ananashaha,

There is an option within the podcast app to play whatever you’re listening to at half speed. Make sure this says 1x for regular speed.

Thanks - where is the speed control button please - I have podcast version 2.4 on an old ipad 3 and cannot find it in either the podcast or in settings?
