Mojave partially broke my SuperDrive. Just burned a CD this morning on my macBook, upgraded to Mojave this afternoon, and now blank CDs will not appear and cannot be easily ejected, either. Same is true on my desktop iMac, I now realize.

You can still burn disks by creating a "Burn" folder, adding the files to it, then right clicking on the folder and choose "Burn…" from the contextual menu.
Yes. It's a known bug in Mojave. Not sure about ejecting a disk but if the eject key doesn't work, hold the mouse or trackpad down while restarting.
