Can’t see shared Playlists in Apple Music

When I search in Apple Music I get “shared playlists” results but my daughter, who has a separate Apple Music account but is part of my family sharing, doesn’t see those results. Any ideas?

Hi kaliwali,

Thanks for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. I understand that when you search Apple Music you're seeing results for shared playlists but when your daughter searches using her account, she doesn't see the same results. I can see why you'd reach out about this; I'd like to provide some information. While it's possible to share an Apple Music Family subscription, it does not include the content or preferences specific to user profiles within Apple Music. In order for your daughter to see shared playlist results when searching in Apple Music, she'll need to set up her Apple Music profile and follow friends to see these results: See what your friends are listening to

If she'd like to create her own playlist to share, this guide can help: Create and share playlists

Best Regards.
