share music is not coming up as an option under family

in settings under “family”, music sharing is not coming up as an option. I want to share iTunes music, I have not subscribed to Apple Music and don’t want to at this time. My family member is not getting any of the music library in her phone or iPad.

Playing music on multiple devices without apple music family share My family shares one apple ID. We have apple music, but not family share. When playing music on either the apple music player or other players we have gotten from the app store we cannot play on multiple devices at the same time. The problem I have is that it does this with all music downloaded to the device. Including music that was purchased somewhere else and downloaded to the device. Is there a fix for this? And don't say "get the apple music family share", I shouldn't have to pay more to listen to music I've payed for separately from apple music on multiple devices at the same time.

Family Sharing refers to sharing iTunes music as Purchase Sharing. Enable that to solve all issues.
